James Trowsdale, Strategic Lead for Culture

With more than 10 years’ experience in the sector, James was previously central to the team that delivered Hull City of Culture, leading relationships with Arts Council England and the National Lottery Heritage Fund, as well as being responsible for securing and managing funds to drive the programme forward. You may also have come across James in his work at the Humber LEP. James is a keen runner and GTFC fan.

Sarah Smith, Programme Manager

Sarah moved from the People and Culture team at the end of 2019 to take on this ambitious project. Naturally determined, passionate and committed, she’s also a trustee for Enquire Learning Trust and an executive member of her local scout group contributing to their aims and vision, a regular runner and travels near and far to discover treasure hunts aka geocaching!

Dean Evison, Programme Support Officer

Born in Grimsby, Dean has been working as a Geography Teacher and Curriculum Leader at a local secondary school and sixth form college for 14 years.  He also has experience of teaching Business and running Young Enterprise and Enterprise Days.  Dean’s particular interest is in positive change and regeneration in the Humber region and capturing the undoubted potential of the area. In his spare time he follows GTFC and is another running fan!
